Allyson Felix’s Favorite Street // Avenue de Monte-Carlo, Monte Carlo, Monaco
By Chris Clayton, Delta Sky Deputy Editor
When she isn’t collecting hardware at track and field contests around the world, Olympic gold medalist sprinter Allyson Felix takes a break on Avenue de Monte-Carlo in Monte Carlo, Monaco. In the latest issue of Delta Sky magazine, Felix shares some of her favorite stops along this stylish thoroughfare—and here are a few more of her must-visits:
Gucci store: “If you are hoping to fit in with the locals and do a little splurge shopping, this boutique is a lot of fun to visit. The clothes are beautiful and you will leave feeling like you fit in with the surreal Monegasquan life.” gucci.com
Buddha Bar : “This is a great place for sushi in a very creative atmosphere. The restaurant is large, dimly lit and decorated in a very unique and ornate way.” buddhabarmontecarlo.com
Brasserie le Café de Paris : “A wonderful place to sit outside and people watch while enjoying a light snack or sandwich. The weather is beautiful most of the year, so don’t forget to bring your chic sunglasses.” casinocafedeparis.com
Valentino : “If you have a special black tie event, then Valentino may be the place for you ladies to find the gown you’ve always dreamed of. The wonderful thing about Monaco is that there are always quite a few reasons to get dressed up and have a fun evening.” valentino.com
