Are you a Foodie, Techie, Humanitarian, Explorer or Creative? Find out at our Social Soul interactive exhibit at this year’s ted conference in Vancouver.
Social Soul allows participants to connect with fellow conference attendees based on an algorithm that analyzes their own social stream based on their Twitter Feed.
How does it work?
• Participants enter the main space and experience a captivating stream of the imagery, text, video, and audio of their own Twitter feed and those they follow.
• The participants’ own social stream will then transform to the social stream of another TED attendee or speaker.
• This new person is chosen based on an algorithm that analyzes their own stream. First, it identifies which of the five themes (Techie, Humanitarian, Explorer, Creative, Foodie) they fit best with. Then, it finds another person at TED that fits the same theme.
• Finally, participants will see the name and Twitter handle of the person whose social space they were just inhabiting and are encouraged to connect with him/her.
