Departing doesn’t have to mean disconnecting. Now with even more planes in the cloud, we are pleased to announce that we can offer customers global connectivity on all 747s this summer and the rest of the fleet by the end of 2015!
Three of 16 747-400 aircraft are complete and are used on flights between Atlanta and Tokyo-Narita; Detroit and Seoul-Incheon; Detroit and Nagoya; Detroit and Tokyo-Narita; New York-JFK and Tel Aviv as well as New York-JFK and Tokyo-Narita, and some intra-Pacific flights.
Delta is scheduled to complete the installation of Wi-Fi service on its entire international fleet by the end of 2015 including its Boeing 777, 767, 747, Airbus A330 and transoceanic Boeing 757 aircraft operating on international, long-haul routes.
